Ra emits all frequencies. Ra does not see all frequencies. Ra focuses. Each eigenvalue is one color of the rainbow of Ra.

The 4.24% shadow = η*√2 = the face diagonal of the cube × the gap. The sun cannot focus beyond its own diameter.
